1. General App Use

By downloading or using the Horizon app, you agree to these terms. You are responsible for reading these terms carefully before using the app.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Horizon app for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and Conditions. Swipe Studio Ltd retains all rights to the app, including all intellectual property rights. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the app.

Swipe Studio Ltd strives to provide a useful and efficient app. We reserve the right to make changes to the app, including features and services, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice, and to charge for services, with clear communication about any charges, especially for subscriptions.

The Horizon app processes your data as described in our Privacy Policy to provide the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and app access. We recommend against jailbreaking or rooting your device as it may compromise security and app functionality.

The Horizon app's functionality may be dependent on an active internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data). You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining this connection and for any associated data charges from your mobile provider. Swipe Studio Ltd is not responsible for the app’s functionality being limited or unavailable due to lack of internet access or limitations in your data plan.

The app uses third-party services, and your use is also subject to their terms. Links to these terms are provided below:

Horizon is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Swipe Studio Ltd disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Swipe Studio Ltd does not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or meet your specific requirements. Swipe Studio Ltd accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, arising from your use of the app or reliance on its functionality, including but not limited to losses due to interrupted service, inaccurate information, or device-related issues.

We may update the app, and you agree to accept updates. We may also terminate the app at any time without notice, at which point your rights to use of the app will cease, and you must stop using and delete the app.

2. App Store Subscriptions

The following terms apply specifically to subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store for the Horizon app:

2.1 Subscription Duration and Renewal

The subscription period is for one year, with a one-week free trial. Subscriptions will automatically renew for an identical period (one year) unless you cancel it before the renewal date. The deadline for cancellation to avoid auto-renewal is 24 hours before the renewal date. You must be at least 16 years old to become a subscriber.

2.2 Price Changes and Notification Procedures

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will notify you of price changes at least one week in advance via email. You have the option to opt-out of the subscription if you do not agree to the new price by cancelling your subscription before the next billing cycle.

2.3 Feature Changes and Updates

Horizon may add, modify, or remove features and functionalities over time. This is a common practice in app development, as it allows for continuous improvement and adaptation to user needs and technological advancements. Such changes may be made at Horizon's discretion and without prior notice.

2.4 Cancellation Policies and Refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time via the Apple App Store subscription settings. Swipe Studio Ltd does not offer refunds for cancellations. You will retain access to the subscription benefits until the end of the current billing cycle, even if you cancel before the renewal date.

2.5 Data Usage and Privacy (Subscription Features)

Your data is handled securely and in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please refer to this policy for full details on data usage and your rights.

Specifically regarding subscription features and our use of AI and LLMs:

• Data is retained in Google’s EU servers unless you request removal as per GDPR guidelines.
• We consider ethical considerations related to data privacy in AI systems, ensuring informed consent and transparency about data usage.
• We are cognizant of the inherent bias built into LLM systems and actively guard against them.
• We are aware that LLM systems can “hallucinate”, and we do our utmost to prevent this.
• We incorporate best practices for data privacy in AI, such as data minimization, de-identification techniques, and privacy-by-design principles to build user trust and ensure responsible data handling.

We may update our Terms and Conditions from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page or via in-app notification where appropriate.
